I was initially drawn to Bob as a leadership coach because of his martial arts practice; I appreciated he could bring those principles into our leadership coaching work. Because he understands our corporate culture’s dynamic quality — both in personalities and work product — Bob was effective at teasing out the most relevant factors and asking pointed questions to shift my thinking.
By asking the hard questions, he pulled out what I was really thinking and feeling. While I previously felt the trash and churn of a hectic work life, I’m now better able to keep my center as I work through complex, and often political, business issues. Bob was a much-needed neutral sounding board. He helped me identify the battles worthy of engaging.
Ultimately, I’m happier and more effective. The framework we built together guides my point of view and success.
