The Somatic work I did with Bob was incredibly powerful. How you show up — being comfortable and confident when advocating your point of view — is an important component of leadership. Together Bob and I examined my management style, especially as it related to influencing others. Bringing the physical element (using a martial art Jo) to leadership made quite an impact. Others now comment on how much they value my perspective and involvement in projects. I felt a definite shift, I no longer feel like an “imposter.” Bob helped me develop into a more powerful and balanced leader. As a result, more doors are opening for me. I now have more responsibility, I’ve earned the respect of contrarians, and I don’t shy away from crucial conversations.
