Personality clashes in the workplace are inevitable. How you deal with those differences shows personal leadership. I felt the benefits of my work with Bob within a few weeks. My communication preference leans toward reserved, thinking before speaking. By zeroing in on my priorities and how work affected me mentally, physically, and emotionally, I became more assertive in order to get what I needed in a positive and supportive way.

While the process felt counterintuitive at first and required practice, it helped me grow professionally and personally. The work I did with Bob was an eye-opener. I was able to release the tension and build the confidence needed to move forward.
